Divergence
di·ver·gence (dĭ-vûr'jəns, dī-)
n.
a A turning of both eyes outward from a common point (in the direction of a sudden sound).
b Deflection of a compass needle caused by local magnetic influence.
c A departure from the expected or proper course, considered to be undesirable.
d Failure to approach a limit. i.e. "whether Iraq is seen as a success or failure [...]
e A red sun at dusk or dawn that indicates dry weather. Compare this with a red sky at dusk or dawn as some people tend to confuse these two.
